Connecting with Parents is very important to me. One tool that I have found extremely helpful in doing this is Edmodo. It has allowed me to keep parents, and students up to date on assignments, classroom activities. I post all the assignments on Edmodo so both parents, and students can have access to them whenever they need. 

For parents who do not have an Edmodo account, weekly emails are sent out, to update them on what has happened this week, as well as remind them of events coming up in the near future.

I believe in having an open door policy with parents as well. If a parent needs to talk, or would like to be more involved with their childs education, I am always more than happy to help them in any way I can. Parents know their children the best, so having their input, and their support makes my job so much easier.
